CRIME COMMISSION TEAMS WITH ANIMAL WELFARE FOUNDATION

In memory of Officer Oozi, and in honor of the work that the Broward County Sheriff’s K-9 Unit is doing with the canine officers; The South Florida Crime Commission, with the generous support of the Animal Welfare Foundation, has   donated funds for the purchase of a K-9 officer.

On September 3, 2008, a check in the amount of $30,000.00 was presented to B.S.O. to be used to support the K-9 Unit.

We wish to thank all who supported this project with a special “Thank You” to The Animal Welfare Foundation.
