CHIEF FOSTER Has served with the Coral Springs Police Department for over 20 years. He describes his Department as follows:
The Coral Springs Police Department has a diverse workforce with an authorized strength of 202 police officers and 100 civilian members, serving approximately 127,000 residents. We are nationally accredited through the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies as well as at the state level through the Florida Commission for Law Enforcement Accreditation . Every member is dedicated to providing the highest level of professional service to our citizens, businesses and the visitors we serve.
This level of service has allowed Coral Springs to enjoy one of the lowest crime rates in Florida for cities with a population of over 100,000 residents. By incorporating a number of problem solving initiatives to include substations through out the community, a wide variety of juvenile programs and a safe driving campaign, our staff is committed to ensuring that the City of Coral Springs is the premier city in which to live, work and raise a family.
The South Florida Crime Commission would like to thank the Chief for his service to Coral Springs and its residents.
JOB WELL DONE CHIEF.......
